An 1895 pattern Bavarian Heer Enlisted buckle, constructed of partially silvered brass, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of IN TREUE FEST (STEADFAST IN LOYALTY) with oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating minor scratching to the base metal, in
