Finland. An Order of the White Rose, Knight, in Case certificate_of_authenticity surmounted by a laurel wreath(Suomen Valkoisen Ruusun ritarikunta). Instituted January 28, 1919 by Baron Mannerheim. Type II. Civil Division. In silver gilt, a white enamel cross with lions holding swords in each quadrant, the obverse medallion features a white enamelled rose surrounded by a blue ring, the reverse is plain, measures 40. 6 mm (w) x 44. 5 mm (h), weighs 23. 94 grams (with ribbon), enamels intact, worn on original blue ribbon, extremely fine. Contained in the
