This cap is in standard Heer (Army) green doeskin wool with a 43 mm hunter green wool band and a traditional high peak with matching finely braided gold-coloured bullion piping along the top edge and flanking either side of the band

A rectangular bar constructed of gilded silver, the centre bears a cut out crowned W cipher, within a cut out frame, on a red ribbon with blue stripes, on a magnetic metal backer, measuring 40. 37 mm (w) x 25. 13 mm (h), very fine.
