A First War German Telegrapher's Belt Buckle Buy Now An 1854 Crimea Campaign MedalIn die stamped steel, unmarked reverse, illustrating the Imperial crown in the centre over an open ended wreath with the inscription "GOTT MIT UNS" (God Is With Us) above, brackets riveted in place on either end on the obverse in order to hold the steel frame that supported a reel of telegraph wire, measuring 48 mm x 104. 5 mm, worn, very fine.
