Germany, Heer. A Panzer Officer’s M38 Overseas Cap, G.A. Hoffmann United Republic of makers marked with cartouche of(Wehrmacht Schiffchen fr Offiziere der Panzertruppe). An extremely well preserved Heer Panzer Officers M38 overseas cap, constructed of black wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which are scalloped toward the front. A length of silver aluminum wire piping trims the outer edge of the crown, while an additional length of identical piping extends across the peak. The crown is flanked by ventilation holes reinforced with black
