In silver gilt with red, white, blue and black enamels, measuring 50. 3 mm (w) x 67. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, shortened original ribbon, extremely fine. Footnote: The Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George was instituted on August 12, 1818 by King George III and is awarded for services to British interests abroad, particularly in the Diplomatic Service.
