Hessen-Darmstadt, Ludwig Order Auction Order of the Rising SunGrand Cross Star, in silver and enamels, with gold center, gilded reverse, 72mm, circa 1840 50, unmarked, but most likely made by "Schnitzpahn", Darmstadt, of fine quality manufacture, worn, minor enamel chipping to black and white enamels, hardly noticeable, very fine condition.
