DYER., 6TH DRAGN GDS , worn on a swivel suspension (slightly bent), contact marks around edges, near very fine condition. Footnote: George Dyer is present on the Indian Mutiny Medal Roll. His service number was 1145. The 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers) were deployed to India during the later stages of the Indian Mutiny (18571858) to support British efforts in suppressing
