A 1940 Wehrmacht Heer (Army) Narvik Campaign Shield United Republic of 1891 in ValleyfieldA 1940 Wehrmacht Heer (Army) Issue Narvik Schild; constructed of stamped zink; the shield; featuring national eagle with swooped down wings, clutching a wreathed swastika; inscribed Narvik in capital letters, with an Edelweiss flower (representing the Heer) in the center between the date 1940 and a crossed anchor (representing the Kriegsmarine) and propeller (representing the Luftwaffe) on the obverse; with its wool backer perfectly preserved; all
