Saxony, Kingdom. An Albert Order, Commander’s Cross in Gold United Republic of Helena (née Fuchs)(Albrechtsorden Komturkreuz I. Klasse in Gold). Instituted 31 December 1850 by King Friedrich August II. (1876 1918 issue). Constructed of 18K Gold with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Latin Cross with white enameled arms joined through the quadrants by a green enameled oak leaf wreath, the obverse overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a rightward facing Gold profile of Duke Albert III, situated within a blue enameled ring
