Turkey, Ottoman Empire. A First War War Medal, Galipoli Star, German Made United Republic of ring marked "24"(Harp Madalyasi). Instituted in 1915. In silvered bronze with red enamels, German made, measuring 57 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), horizontal pinback, intact enamels, extremely fine. Footnote: The Turkish War Medal was instituted in 1915 and awarded for acts of bravery or merit in action.
