Germany, Luftwaffe. An Observer Badge, Cloth Version Hold measures 76x95mm(Beobachterabzeichen, Stoffversion). Constructed of multi coloured machine embroidery in the shape of an oak and laurel wreath with a mobile swastika in the talons of an eagle that is superimposed on the badge; on a gray wool backer with black backing on the reverse; measuring 63 mm (w) x 63 mm (h); a worn example with light soiling on the obverse; in overall near very fine condition.
