Instituted 31 July 1936. (1936 1937 issue). Constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central Olympic column overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, topped by Olympics rings, and flanked by a date of 1936, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of FR VERDIENSTVOLLE MITARBEIT BEI DEN OLYMPISCHEN SPIELEN
