Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original tri fold ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central raised monogram of King Johann, within a ring of blue enamels, the reverse with central raised dates 1870 1871, with a laurel and oak leaf wreath through the quadrants, unmarked, measuring
