Russia, Imperial. An Order Of St. Stanislaus, I Class With Swords, C.1925 Auction Accompanied by two 9 mm( , 2 ). Instituted in 1765. Type II (1856 1917). Of French manufacture, in silver gilt, a red enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials and fanned arches in each knee, crossed swords through the center of the cross, with superimposed double headed eagle on top of each sword section between the arms, the obverse medallion features a hand painted red monogram of Saint Stanislaus, set within a circular laurel leaf wreath highlighted in green enamels,
