but the Barbarescos and Barolos are the highlights
Lots of toasty oak on the back end but this is in balance with the fruit that drives the palate
The second Riserva personally overseen by Franco Biondi Santi arrived in a moderate season

Very drying finish
Coursodon, Saint-Joseph Silice Rouge other_regions but the Barbarescos and BarolosThe classically styled 2017 Saint Joseph Silice aged in wood but in well used barrels, so it still sings with violets, blackberries and cracked pepper. It is on the full bodied side of the ledger, supple, lush and creamy, with hints of dark chocolate and warmth on the finish. Tasted twice (once blind), with consistent notes.
