I especially love the tin foil windows

I believe they were/are practice efforts in advance of making theorem paintings or decorating tinware (tole painting) and incorporate a combination of painting done with stencils and by hand

I found it at a terrific estate sale in Concord

It appears that the orange brown paper was painted first, reminding me of grain sponge painted boxes and furniture. Very striking.
