All appear to be French and a handful are still wrapped in paper

and for me super evocative

7 3/8" x 5 3/8" with some paint loss as evident--I personally think all to the good

which is just fun to do--I'd invent games to play with it

and all the more so with 70 or so years on it

I know from the seller I purchased this from that it came from Pennsylvania, c. mid 19th century I believe. The ground is very loosely woven, with unfinished edges but the embroidered borders
