A total delight, this is both generous and timid with gorgeous, bright structure. Viura, known in other regions of Spain as Macabeo or Macabeau, is a charmer of a varietal. Cabezadas refers to the old vine, low yielding hilltop vineyards from which it was made. Traditionally the whites of Rioja Alavesa were planted on the cabezadas (coming
