Two fine graphite portrait drawings of the same woman, with a piece of black paper in between and glass on either side to make for a double sided portrait, papered around the edges in red and gold. C. 1830s or so I believe, and would guess British, with the three quarters view drawing especially fine; how winsome she looks, as if long
