I found it very tarnished but it polished right up

with about 20 miles between detour signs one was supposed to follow

which I found in Kansas City

and was printed by J

19th Century Needlepoint (with Petit Point) Boy with Dog in Period Frame 1930s watercolor I found it very tarnishedA nice old needlepoint, mid 19th century I believe, in period frame, original to it it appears. Executed in hand dyed wool, with petit point (tiny stitches) used for the face of the boy (with excellent pinked cheeks.) And quite the little master he appears, waving his whip overhead but clearly his very sweet looking giant dog companion could trounce him if desired, so I take this as a portrait of mis guided youthful hubris! 8 1 2" x 7 3 4" framed;
