Last year from barrel this was restrained to the point of being almost mute but that is no longer the case as the nose is now overtly expressive with very ripe and again borderline exotic aromas of yellow orchard fruit along with the more classic scents of citrus
Then plush and elegant in the mouth
austere and quite serious finale that delivers very fine persistence
delivering powerful mineral thrust and persistent floral and smoky mineral notes that cling to the strikingly long finish
