Needlepoint Art Deco Purse with Tension Closure Egyptian design This hand carved Northwest CoastI think this beautifully constructed, vintage needlepoint purse, with an Art Deco sort of a feel, is a wonderful blend of haute and homespun, great for a gala but also with jeans and a t shirt. I like to think it was made for a special occasion, as part of a head to toe ensemble that perhaps also included a perfectly tailored suit, spectator pumps, and a fabulous hat with a feather or two. Whatever the case, I am sure she had a lot of style. Great
