This is a modern 40mm f2 lens designed to look like an older Nikon pre-AI lens- it even has the little coupling ears- but with full AI compatibility and CPU contacts

Nikon does have software available for this scanner

but focusing is manual

Holds up to 12kg (26lbs) and weighs less than a kilo not bad! In excellent condition, with only very minor cosmetic wear.
