with all of its patina now making it feel a bit like a momento mori

perhaps overhead in a hallway as it is double-sided

now with a very dark dry patina on the back where exposed

And just right that this black bear should be perched as it is, neck extended curiously, as if peering over a cliff and into the future. Great. 3 4 8" t x 3 5 8" l (base) x 1 3 4" w. Great condition, earlyish 20th c. I would guess, nicely aged.
