Beautiful Old Frog or Fish Gig with Sculptural Make Do Driftwood Handle little wooden owl Toko (or whoever she is)Really a beautiful and special feeling make do thing, which I believe would have been used for hunting (impaling) frogs. The fork is iron, and the handle driftwood, super smooth and with wonderful sculptural form. (Photos do no justice, and can't convey how nice to hold, either.) To my eye and sensibilities, a perfect object born of necessity, resourcefully constructed, and about as poetic as it gets. Found in the Midwest. 15 5 8" l x 3 1 8" w and in
