I am finding it hard to resist antique floral watercolors these days--perhaps in part for knowing that the loveliness of spring blooms exploding everywhere at the moment will soon be gone
Mold would produce a lead shot approx 5/8" in diameter
The twigs still show their original white paint and are joined by tiny nails--and I think they wed most perfectly with the red-painted plank seat
held in the perfect period frame
Old Red Painted Folk Art Pig Cutting Board wooden steps 6 1/16” x 6 3/4”Really a good one, which feels to me as much like a butcher shop sign as a folk art cutting board made at home, though I believe the latter. Great smiling face and yellow eyelashes, and great old red painted body, which curiously shows darker on the bottom 3 4 of the pig than the top, I presume product of where it was hung or stored, and which I think is all to the good as if too highlight the belly! (The contrast is a bit more pronounced ion photos
