I just love this handmade one-of-a-kind trivet (and I have a second trivet clearly by the same maker

They stack nicely for storing but I'd put them on the table whenever I could

fall leaves or pinecones

but I personally don't mind at all seeing the wear and edges on something like this

but might later consider breaking up if I can't sell as a group

It seems somehow rather poignant that "Puritan" and lead should be linked, perhaps as if to signify the heavy weight of the puritanical in many senses.
