Fresh and ripe aromas include those of green fruit

hints of candle wax emerging with time

jammy fruit and a gorgeous earth and mushroom note very much like good mature burgundy

with a charcoal shading

There is outstanding richness to the fleshy and very generous broad-shouldered flavors that also possess an abundance of dry extract that adds a sense of volume to the dusty and mouth coating finish that exhibits excellent length

Chandon de Briailles, Corton Charlemagne Blanc Brut Zero Fresh and ripe aromas include(from a tiny parcel in Les Renardes). This is aromatically similar to the straight Corton Blanc though with a whiff of the exotic lurking in the background. There is a lovely sense of energy to the much more obviously mineral and soil inflected larger scaled flavors that flash fine power and drive on the clean, dry and sneaky long finish. This will need to develop better depth to merit the upper end of my projected range, but it may well do so in time.
