I especially love the tornado of smoke rising from his cigar

While I’d like to imagine the maker of the vessel had Magritte’s famous painting “The Treachery of Images” in mind

and really love its architectural structure and crisp

A little bit of roughness--not quite a perfectly sharp point--at the tip

and elsewhere some scattered stains and smudges

Pretty Antique Round Brush with Turned Handle and Natural Black Bristles retro I especially love the tornadoI am incapable of walking away from a nice old brush, so here's another, this one with an old ribbon tied tightly around the top of the handle, which has prevented me from figuring out whether the handle is threaded or not! It's beautifully aged with a full head of tapered black bristles, horsehair I assume, flecked with a few white ones. Some wear to the edge of the wood at the head but in overall very good shape and really pretty. 11 3 4" long
