Definitely it's got some age--I would think 1940s at the latest

and presumably date from around the 1840s when Fitzgerald was engaged in military service

The basket is a terrific large size

They really feel little a pretty special set. Color lithography on a nice weight cardstock, they'd be pretty great marching along the edge of a shelf or two or three, though could also be used as note cards as they feature blank
