Marmaduke Multiply, Scarce 1845 Child's Book with Handmade Cover and Hand-colored Engravings painted decorated carved box and they seemI'm a real sucker for early children's books, though I hold myself back much of time this one though, a 1845 copy of Marmaduke Multiply, published by Munroe and Francis, Boston and considered an "important" child's book, was way too good to resist and is also a rarity. This copy was given a handmade paper cover with title cut out and adhered as an oval to the front, plus gorgeous hand marbled grain painted paper covering the spine. Inside, 71 pages of
