This is the second one of these I've had in the shop

shows some of the original paint still hanging on where it would least have been handled--a wonderful yellow on the top of the rockers

and imagine that he referred to it quite a lot

Alphabet and Animal Blocks nude bookends and large enough for storingA great, well used, early set of blocks, early 20th c. and made by the US Embossing Company I believe with letters (on four sides, in two different styles) and animals on the two others. I of course believe one can never have too many sets of blocks, and alphabet blocks especially in order to be able to spell out all sorts of messages! 1 13 16 cubed. Well worn as evident, but in my opinion all the better for it.
