though now I think I might mount him on the wall balanced on a few strategically placed nails

and how useful for so many purposes

A little roughness to the edges of the spinner but overall great condition with I'd guess 100 years or more on it

Wonderful Old Hand-carved, Painted Man with Glasses carving by rita including this Mother Bird withA charmer of an old carving, with this dapper fellow looking to me as if about to accept an important award, perhaps a Pulitzer, or an Oscar, or the Nobel Prize! As such, he seems especially good company to me and one with whom I might share all of my best ideas! Really wonderfully done, those excellent spectacles best of all, with blue eyes behind them and a terrifically painterly face. 4 7 16" t x 1 1 2" w x 1" d and in excellent condition, 1940s or
