Time Stopped: Antique Handblown Glass Hourglass with No Armature chess set statements and documentation of videotapesI know this is an old one, as I found it along with remnants of an antique hand cut tin lattice sleeve, which would have held it to make it usable (no longer the case.) Which made me realize how lovely an object a liberated (and thwarted) hourglass is when set on its side formally and metaphorically resonant in all sorts of ways! 2 1 2" long. Hand blown, with pontils at either end, and satisfying pinkish brown sand. Nice patina to the surface of the
