At first I thought this lovely hand-painted postcard depicted a bunch of green olives still on the branch

They are 6 1/2" long and 1/4" diameter

A little dryness/roughness around one edge of the petal (which I'm only noticing in magnified photos) and a mark from an an old sticker on one side of the post near the bottom but overall very good condition

19" in diameter

and of well greater value than the price I am putting on it

I just fell in love with its dramatic form and ornately carved details, with a great mix of horizontals and verticals and terrific five point stars at the cornice, where the columns meet the anglular roof. I also find it both excellent and amusing that all of this skill and labor was applied to creating a whimsy that houses just one smallish
