This little petit point on wool embroidery just makes me happy

I love the warm glow of light in this one but simultaneous sense of moodiness--and I can't help but to imagine walking through what looks like a portal into the interior of that rock formation

otherwise both are in excellent condition

I'd think he dates to the early 20th century

I also kind of like the irony that the speedy hare should be burdened with one broken wheel, such that a tortoise pull toy would completely out run him! This is a pretty old one I think, and appears to have been much loved. 11 1 2"
