Antique French Regence Carved Walnut Provincial 3 Drawer Commode Chest Lyon 1730 Redo each around 7 carats inA good & substantial antique French Lyonnaise carved walnut Provincial three drawer commode chest, in the Regence style, Lyon, France, circa 1730. The commode being of serpentine form and having three large drawers, each drawer is carved with Rococo scrolls and shell motifs, the drawers with gilt bronze handles and escutcheons. The commode is raised on short cabriole feet, as is common with these chests from Lyon, they are larger in size and have
