Acclaimed Japanese potter Akio Nukaga crafts one of a kind works of art for use in daily life. Modernist, with distinctly Japanese roots, the assured shapes and expressive surfaces are grounded with an earthy, rustic texture. Each one of Akio Nukagas signature pleated designs are thrown and carved by hand at his countryside studio in Kasama, Japan.
