This wonderful pair of antique French side chairs date to the Restauration period of France (1814 1830), when Napoleon I abdicated & the Bourbon monarchary was restored & Louis XVIII became king. This pair of His & Hers side chairs are finely carved to the seat backsplats with a Greco Roman head, one female, the other male and enclosed in a carved
